Inspiration
Two years ago, I spent three glorious weeks in Italy celebrating my daughter’s wedding (here are the pictures I have hanging in my house)—and I fell completely in love. The beauty, the warmth of the people, the food shared around long tables, the way history and everyday life intertwine…Italy gets under your skin.
By the time I came home, I knew I had to set a novel there. I wanted to capture not just the scenery, but the feeling of being in a place that invites you to slow down, open your heart, and see your life a little differently. Meet Me in Italy grew directly from that experience—from moments I lived, places I walked, and the deep sense that some journeys change you forever.
