Welcome to Brenda Novak’s 2026 Reading Challenge!

The monthly challenge reads are the same books we are reading together in Brenda’s online book group on Facebook and Instagram. We meet to discuss the book with the author on the last Thursday of the month via a live video at 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET. If you want a chance to get a signed copy of each of the books we feature, you can subscribe to the Brenda Novak Book Boxes or buy a box here and there as they appeal to you: brendanovakstore.com. The book boxes are merely a fun option; they’re not required to participate.

Record Your Read Monthly Giveaway — $100 Gift Card to The Brenda Novak Store

If you read along with us each month and record that you’ve read the book that month by the 15th of the following month, you’ll be entered in to win a $100 Gift Card to The Brenda Novak Store. The winners will be posted on each form and in the book group. The deadline to submit for each month is the 15th of the following month. (For example: January’s information needs to be entered by February 15th.)

Free Enamel Reading Challenge Pin

If you complete all twelve books, you’ll get a FREE enamel pin (you do not need to read and record monthly—there is no deadline to get your pin, it’s just as long as we have pins left). You’ll receive yours for free in 2027 February’s Brenda Novak Book Box (email store@brendanovak.com if you’re a subscriber to let us know to include your pin). Or if you’re not planning to get this box, we just ask that you pay the $5 shipping and handling .

Grand Prize

If you complete all twelve books, you’ll also be entered into the GRAND PRIZE drawing at the end of the year, a dedication in one of my upcoming books! You just have to complete all twelve reads by January 15th, 2027.
